| Daffodil Day
Daffodil Day is the Cancer Society's flagship annual event, and is one the most important fundraising and awareness campaigns in the country.
Held on the last Friday in August of each year, Daffodil Day is the culmination of a month of fundraising activities, and is a time when people support the Cancer Society’s essential work.
We use the daffodil as our symbol as it is one of the first flowers of spring, whose bright yellow blooms remind us of the joys the new season will bring. It represents the hope there is for all those affected by cancer.
Cancer affects 1 in 3 New Zealanders. With your help, we have the hope of reducing its incidence and impact.
To volunteer or make a donation, or to get your business or school involved please visit the Daffodil Day website.
