ABOUT US
 
The Cancer Society of New Zealand is the leading organisation dedicated to reducing the incidence of cancer and ensuring the best cancer care for everyone in New Zealand.  The Cancer Society consists of a national office, located in Wellington, and six regional divisions, all involved in raising their own funds and providing local support services.  We are the leading cancer patient advocate in New Zealand, providing a voice on all kinds of issues affecting cancer detection and treatment.

Information
The Cancer Society is the country’s largest source of information on adult cancer, its effects, and support services. It provides a range of literature including booklets, leaflets, tapes, information sheets, videos and books, in addition to a directory of cancer information providers.

The information is available from your local Cancer Society division or the Cancer Information Helpline (0800 CANCER). BookletsInformation Sheets and other information resources can also be downloaded directly from this site.
 
Donations
The Cancer Society is an independent charity and is not funded by the Government. It relies heavily on personal support, such as donations and bequests, and fund-raising events including Relay for Life and Daffodil Day. To make a donation please contact your
local Cancer Society division.
 
Volunteering
The Society values the immense input of its volunteers and aims to provide a fulfilling and rewarding experience for those who give their time to help.  If you would like to assist with the Cancer Society’s work, our staff would be delighted to
hear from you.
