Fundraising
We are an independent non-government organisation reliant on donations, bequests and community support.
We are proud to be regarded as one of New Zealand's most trusted charities and this is reflected in our fundraising practices:
- We keep our fundraising expenses well within industry guidelines.
- We carry out our own fundraising and use volunteers wherever possible to minimise costs.
- We do not employ fundraising companies or pay commission to fundraisers, and do not engage telemarketing companies to solicit donations, or carry out door to door collections.
