About Us
WE HAVE MOVED
104 Moorhouse Ave, Christchurch
The Canterbury West Coast Division’s Christchurch based Cancer Society Centre has finally re-located to new leased premises at 104 Moorhouse Avenue. The building is located next door to Meridian and is on the Port Hills side of Moorhouse Avenue. Unfortunately, the building signage has not yet been installed, but this will occur shortly. Limited visitor parking is available at the front entrance.
Our new physical address is 104 Moorhouse Avenue, Christchurch 8011.
Our postal address remains the same – PO Box 13450, Christchurch 8141.
So far the relocation has gone relatively well, but it has been a big job sorting through our damaged Manchester Street Centre to find useful items and resources to set up in Moorhouse Avenue.

Tranzalpine Scooter Safari
Saturday May 26 2012
The Safari is not a race – it’s an awareness-raising and fundraising event for the survivors, families of those with cancer and those committed to making a difference. By raising funds for the Cancer Society we are helping them continue their amazing work making sure those people living with cancer, their family, friends and colleagues as well as the health professionals that support them get access to information and support, from the moment of diagnosis right through to treatment and recovery.

Your support enables our work to continue
It has been a very busy year across the Division and our services are very much in demand.
We have recently taken a lease on a building in the central city which will become our Christchurch centre for the next couple of years. We hope to be relocated before the end of the year, which means we can start the new year afresh and can then advise you all our our new location.
Please remember if you know anyone who needs our help encourage them to ring our free Cancer Information Helpline on 0800 CANCER (226 237) or phone their local Cancer Society office.
Thank you for your continued support and commitment to the Cancer Society. Your continued generosity allows us to support many people living and coping with cancer in our community and for that we are so grateful. It is a privilege to offer services, free of charge to people whose lives have been affected by cancer.
Wishing you a safe and happy SunSmart Summer and holiday season.
