SCOOTER SAFARI
On Saturday May 29th 2010, scooterists conquered the Alps, a journey of 250 km in one day in the second Tranz Alpine Scooter Safari. There were 236 scooters and a great team of enthusiastic riders and supporters.
The Scooter Safari raised over $125,000 for the New Zealand Cancer Society
The Safari is not a race – it’s an awareness-raising and fundraising event for the survivors, families of those with cancer and those committed to making a difference. By raising funds for the Cancer Society we are helping them continue their amazing work.
