Volunteers
With a small staff, volunteers are an important and integral part of the provision of the Cancer Society services.
You too can make a difference
There are a wide variety of ways to support both the organisation and people affected by cancer.
Volunteers assist:-
• At the Centre - Reception, Information brochure organisation and dissemination, clerical work, data entry, retail and merchandising, word processing, library organisation, equipment maintenance, inventory, gardening
• Patient Support- driving, visiting, support groups
• Health Promotion - Community and promotional events
• Fundraising - Daffodil Day, Relay for Life, Special Events
