Our Northland Centre operates as part of the Cancer Society Auckland Division.The Cancer Society Auckland is one of six regional divisions making up the national Cancer Society of New Zealand. We are dedicated to reducing the incidence of cancer and ensuring the best cancer care for everyone in our region, from the Waikato border to Cape Reinga.

The Cancer Society is a non-government organisation dependent on donations, bequests and community support, with core services in:

On Friday 27 August we celebrated the 20th anniversary of Daffodil Day in New Zealand. A big thank you to the thousands of dedicated volunteer collectors who took to the streets to help us raise much needed funds.

Money raised will help us continue to provide free supportive care services and information, fund important scientific cancer research and implement health promotion initiatives to reduce the risk of certain cancers.

As an organisation reliant on donations all contributions, no matter how big or small, are greatly appreciated.

Thank you to everyone who helped make Daffodil Day 2010 such a success. With your help there is hope!
