Prospective volunteers
Thank you for your interest in becoming a Cancer Society volunteer.
By volunteering your time you will be helping us to provide information and support to people affected by cancer, fund research into the causes and treatment of cancer and carry out health promotion activities to create a future with less cancer.
It is important that you have a rewarding experience as a volunteer.
- Your interests, skills and experience are taken into account when identifying a role for you
- You are able to volunteer at times and on days that suit you and can give as little or as much time as you are able
- We provide you with training and support
- We offer a contribution towards travel costs, although many volunteers see this as part of their contribution
