Daffodil Day
Daffodil Day is the largest national fundraising day for cancer research, patient and family support and education in New Zealand.
It is a special day and is always held on the last Friday in August every year.
What do we do with the money?
The money raised from Daffodil Day is used to :
- Fund vital cancer research into the causes and treatment of cancer
- Provide free support to cancer patients, their families and caregivers
- Enable education and prevention programmes to be set up in the community
Want to get involved in the Daffodil Day Event?
Become a Daffodil Day collector
Thousands of volunteers throughout Auckland and Northland hit the streets on Daffodil Day collecting donations from the public. Enthusiasm, time (as little or as much as you can spare), and a desire to help, are the only qualifications you need.
If you are interested in getting involved please get in touch.
