About Us
The Taranaki Centre is here to help you manage the impact of cancer in your life. Our comprehensive range of services are designed to help patients, carers, friends and family deal with cancer while maintaining a positive future outlook and making the most of living in the present. We also assist individuals, families and communities to make healthy lifestyle choices to reduce their risk of developing cancers. We receive no government funding and rely solely on the generosity of donors for funding.
Taranaki Centre was legally incorporated in 1937 and is a membership based organisation of around 300 members. We are based at the TSB Cancer Support Centre in Lorna Street
