Reducing your risk
The Taranaki Centre works collaboratively with other community groups to advocate for healthy public policy and to promote healthy lifestyle choices. Being smokefree, practicing sunsmart behaviour, eating a healthy diet, limiting alcohol consumption, and being active as part of every day life, can help to reduce the risk of developing some cancers and other chronic diseases.
