Information

There is a wide range of information available at the TSB Cancer Support Centre for people who have been diagnosed, or have concerns about cancer.  Included are disease specific & treatment specific information booklets, diet and nutrition information, and information on other services available.  These are all available free of charge.  for a complete list of information and resources available click here

Cancer Information Service

Help provided by oncology nurses on all aspects of cancer and its treatment
Both the Cancer Connect NZ and the Cancer Information Services are available at: 0800 CANCER (226 237)  between the hours of 9.00 am – 5.00 pm, Monday -Friday

 

  

Information Packs for Patients

Our information packs include information specific to particular cancers, and about the services provided by the Cancer Society and other health and community agencies. These are generally given to patients when they visit Taranaki Base Hospital Oncology for the first time.   If you have not recieved one feel free to call into the TSB Cancer Support Centre or phone us on (06) 757 3006, and one will be posted to you.
