About Us
The Waikato/Bay of Plenty Cancer Society is the second largest division of the Cancer Society of New Zealand Inc - an organisation with six regional divisions and a national office in Wellington.
We are proud to have:
- Instigated the Quitline - which is now a nationwide service paid for by the government.
- Created Undercover Cody - the coolest SunSmart turtle who is inspiring thousands of children in the region to slip, slop, slap and wrap!
- Raised over $600,000 from Daffodil Day 2009 and over $300,000 from Relay for Life events in Hamilton and Rotorua this year.
