Judy is responsible for the general management of the division including finances, human resources, policy implementation and external liaison. She has strong, clear visition for the future of the Cancer Society and its work in the community.

Judi is responsible for managing the division's financial accounts and administration.

 Graham Harbutt
Support Services manager

Graham works to find out what the community needs from the Cancer Society. He is also responsible for the overall supervision and coordination of the support services staff and their activities. With a background in social work, Graham has experience as a management training facilitator in the health sector.

 Helena Stewart
Hamilton liaison nurse

Helena provides nursing services to ensure people with cancer and their families receive the best possible care, support and information in their own homes. She works alongside other health professionals to provide advocacy and support. Helena is a registered nurse with a background in haemotology-oncology and palliative care.

South Waikato liaison nurse

Vicki works as a community liaision nurse providing support, advocacy and information to people affected by cancer in the South Waikato and King Country districts. She has an extensive background in oncology and holds an Advanced Diploma of Nursing.

North Waikato/Thames/Coromandel liaison nurse

Emma works as a community liaison nurse to cover the North Waikato/Thames/Coromandel areas. She has an extensive background in oncology and palliative care.

Bev is responsible for the huge pool of volunteers working across the region providing any number of services for the Cancer Society.  As well as recruiting volunteers, Bev is responsible for their ongoing training.

Michelle is based at Waikato Hospital's Oncology Department reception. She is responsible for ensuring a high profile of Cance Society services at the hospital, as well as coordinating transport requests.

Jane is one of the Waikato/Bay of Plenty's health promotion team. She focuses on SunSmart school and tobacco control withing the region.

 

  ROTORUA OFFICE

Sarah Doyle
Rotorua liaison nurse

Sarah is a registered nurse who provides support services, information and advocacy for people affected by cancer across the Rotorua, Whakatane and Murupara districts. She's been a Bay of Plenty District Health Board public health nurse and is well known in the community.

Andrea Mitchell
Taupo liaison nurse

Andrea is a registered nurse with 19 years experience in practice nursing, She works alongside people affected by cancer in the Taupo, Tokoroa and Turangi districts.

Tracey Crompton
Rotorua office administrator

It's Tracey's friendly face that greets people at the Rotorua office. Tracey is responsible for ensuring the smoith running of the office, coordinating Rotorua's volunteers and is instrumental in the donor appeal process and coordinating Daffodil Day for Rotorua.

Colleen Kendrick

Colleen has an extensive background in oncology haematology and chemotherapy. She works alongside other health professionals to provide support, advocacy and information to people affected by cancer and their family/whanau. She is a skilled and effective facilitator of a number of Tauranga's support groups.

Anne works alongside Colleen providing liaison nurse support for people in the Tauranga region who are affected by cancer. 

Melanie Desmarais

Melanie coordinates the SunSmart Schools Accreditation Programme and Smokefree activities, including the 'Out of Sight, Out of Mind' campaign.

Denise is the frontline face for the Tauranga office, handling all administrative duties. She is also vital to the coordination of Daffodil Day in Tauranga.

Cody spends his time going on undercover missions with his friends Duke the starfish, Friday the fish and Lucy the shell.  They remind kids to SLIP SLOP SLAP and WRAP and teach them that it's cool to be SunSmart!
