Living Well Programme
The Living Well Programme offers practical ways of living well, building knowledge, self-confidence and self-help skills wherever you are in your cancer journey. It is a free programme run by specially trained programme facilitators and is usually conducted in small groups for 2 hours/week over 6 weeks.
The programme is offered to those coping with cancer, those who have completed their cancer treatment, and partners, family/whanau or friends. Contact 0800 CANCER (226 237) or info@cancersoc.org.nz for more information.
Living Well Education Programme

Venue: tbc - in Lower Hutt.
This Living Well Education programme is for those who have cancer that will not go away and for any partners or adult support people who are supporting anyone with cancer. Over the 6 weeks you will cover such topics as: understanding what cancer is, nutrition, coping with emotions and with uncertainty, relaxation skills, communicating with your health care team and other issues. Guest speakers will be invited to contribute to discussions.
