Silky Pillows Sewing Circle
A fantastic response to the call in December’s edition of Volunteer News for silky pillow sewing circle volunteers has ensured that the sewing circle is now up and running! A warm heart-felt thank you to those who have taken on this extremely important task.
2012 House & Garden Tour

With all tickets sold for the Kapiti Coast House and Garden Tour it was bound to be a busy day for Volunteers.
Fortunately Friday 16 March was windless and the cloudy sky meant that it was ideal for ticket holders to explore the dozen homes and gardens, graciously opened to the public by their generous owners.
I suspect that for many of you the stunning seascape views of the beachfront properties will have been one of the treats of your volunteer host role. At other locations it may have been the appeal of a coastal garden, or the glorious furnishings and/or object d’art in the home. Your gifted time supporting this fund-raising event, which Cancer Society and Look Good Feel Better are co-beneficiaries, complements the generosity of the house owners at each of the twelve locations.

Thank you most sincerely for the key part each of you played in the success of the tour.
