Being diagnosed with cancer is a difficult time and it may feel like things are out of control. Most people proceed with treatments prescribed by their medical team and do not wish to explore other treatments. Some consider other forms of treatment to add or replace their conventional medical care (offered by their doctors) as a way of feeling more in control.
