FAKE IT, DON'T BAKE IT

Cancer Society Self Tan Lotion produces a natural looking tan, and is a safe alternative to the harmful effects of UV radiation from the sun or sun lamps.

Self tan products contain Dihydroxyacetone (DHA), a pigmenting agent which interacts with proteins in the skin's outer layer to produce a tanned colour. This means the tan doesn't happen straight away but rather develops over one to two hours. It won't wash off and will last a few days until the skin cells are naturally replaced as part of the normal process of skin renewal. These products are regarded as safe as they only work on the outer layer of skin.

Self Tan Mousse and Spray

This popular range has been extended to include two fantastic products – Self Tan Mousse and Self Tan Aerosol Spray.

The Mousse is a luxurious formula which feels silky and is quickly and easily absorbed into the skin.  Its light texture won’t run and with an even coverage it will give you a fantastic result.  The light floral scent brings a refreshing element that evokes thoughts of summer days.

The Aerosol Spray will give a streak free, natural looking tan.  The fine mist ensures that you can use the can upside down without any runs and has a wonderful floral scent which adds to this already popular formula.

Most tans last an average of five days before signs of fading occur.

Contains vitamin E and aloe vera to moisturise the skin.
